“ Have been to Gombo a handful of times now. Have sat at the bar all of those times. Food is always amazing and drinks are fantastic. My wife and I went for our anniversary on Saturday 5/31 and had the best time. Bartender and other folks sitting at the bar are always fun and conversations are great. “ Fantastic! It was a beautiful night, so we got outdoor seating. Drinks were great and unique! The corn ribs were delish, the spicy wings were SPICY. Definitely not in a bad way, but be prepared! The crawfish bisque was...chefs kiss...so good. The salad, the mac n cheese and the jumbalaya was sooo good. Will definitely be back! ”
“ We went this weekend and were so happy with everything. I got the seafood jambalaya and my boyfriend got the fried oyster po boy with sweet potato fries. Both were amazing! The portions were just the right amount and everything was so flavorful and delicious. The decor is very beautiful and it's a great atmosphere both indoors and outside. “ My wife and went here before a show at the Ironhorse and are so happy we visited! Our server was attentive and friendly, atmosphere was great and the vibe is cozy and welcoming. Our wings appetizer was great, crispy yet juicy and great spice. I had the jambalaya which was excellent and my wife loved her chicken with mac and cheese. This place does a great job filling the void that was left in Western Mass' food scene when big mamous closed. We cant wait to go back ”
“ After hearing great things about Gombo, Tony and I finally decided to try it for dinner last night. We started by sharing a small plate of boudin balls, which were very flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the house-made pickles that accompanied them; they had the perfect sweet and spicy balance! Tony ordered the blackened catfish, while I chose the New Orleans red beans and rice. Both dishes were packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. The cornbread was amazing! It was made from scratch, slightly grilled, and served with honey butter. Be sure to order the cornbread! The wait staff was attentive and the owner, Cassidy, stopped over to chat for a moment. We will be back soon! ”
“ Funny enough, we wandered into this place around lunch time after having checked out their dinner menu but were surprised to hear that it was their second day of serving lunch. I was surprised to see a place up here serving gator and immediately went for it, and I was not disappointed! The gator tail was tender and flavorful, and the house made aioli-type sauce in the sandwich was great. Overall, would highly recommend this place, for at least lunch! ”
